Veléa was conceived as an exploration of touch. Where most cutlery is designed primarily for the eye, Veléa begins with the fingertips. The design team invested in extensive tactile research — studying how surface texture, curvature radius, and finish quality combine to create a sensation of genuine softness in a material as inherently hard as steel.

The 6mm core body is finished to a smoothness that reads as warmth to the touch. Soft curves follow the natural contour of a relaxed hand, so that Veléa never feels gripped — only held. The result is a collection that elevates the most mundane dining gesture into something quietly extraordinary.
