Lumière began with a single obsession: what if a piece of cutlery could genuinely make a dining table feel warmer? The design team studied the physics of light reflection — how surface geometry, finish depth, and curvature angle all affect the way steel interacts with candlelight, natural daylight, and the warm tones of an intimate dining room.

The result is a collection engineered to perform differently in different light — softly luminous in candlelight, brilliantly alive in daylight. The 5mm body carries enough visual weight to anchor the table whilst retaining the elegance and lightness that gives Lumière its characteristic radiance.
